I'm a graphic designer, paper artist and urban sketcher with a passion for movies, videogames, bright plastic toys, retro design and pop-culture in general. I create paper models under my artist name Marshall Alexander. I have done commercial work for the toy industry, promotional purposes, books, magazines and more. My work has been featured in several gallery shows around the world and I've created paper installations at a couple of shows as well. |

FUNNY FRIES - On my last model I used a tube of toothpaste as inspiration. This time I’m planning to use the folding technique you find in those little cardboard containers they use for fries for a new model I have in the pipeline. But while I’m still working on the concept of that new model I thought it would be fun to create the actual container and fill it with paper fries :)

TARGETBOY is the result of some experimenting with curves, circles and colored paper. He was reverse-engineered from a model created by just folding, glueing and cutting pieces of paper together until I had a model that worked and then transferred all the pieces to Illustrator. The result I printed on colored paper and rebuild again as a one-off model.
