BGM BOT - Paper mascot for media company BGM Media
Sometimes clients don’t want a completely new model, but one of my existing models with a new texture. This flyer for a German underwear company is one of these examples.
Not every project has an happy end. Sometimes I create concept models that never get published by the client, or are only used for concept meetings. Confidentiality agreements often prevent me from showing this work. Luckily in the case of this cancelled platypus postcard project for Australian Geographic I can show you some screenshots of the model. The model had to be relatively simple and small because you needed to fold it from the postcard itself.
One of the smallest models I had to design was this tiny promotional flyer for Dutch designers Beyond Illusions. The design was printed on thick paperstock with a die-cut.
Mobile Agency, a developer of mobile applications needed a mascotte for their new business and asked if could create this mascotte out of paper. The model is featured on their website and also on their corporate identity materials.
A christmas card that was send out to clients of Dutch designburo designGenerator. The model could be cut out of the card and folded into a small Santa Claus.
Pepakura.net is a site where papertoy designers can showcase their papertoy creations and also store the PDF’s with the templates of their models. For this site I created their 2009 christmas papertoy.
Each year my agent Comic House gives one of the artists in their portfolio the opportunity to create the official Comic House christmas card. I was honored to be asked to do it this year. It turned out a complex project with die-cuts, pre-scored folds, spot colors, etcetera. The endresult looks great and was one of the most fun projects I worked on.
